The Church Pension Group (CPG) has supported the evolving needs of a changing Episcopal Church for more than a century by listening and responding to the many voices of our clients. Each perspective strengthens our understanding and deepens our ability to serve.
Grounded in a strong sense of purpose and vision, we continue to ask ourselves what CPG should be prepared to offer and do in the decades to come. In 2026, we entered the second year of our three-year planning cycle with strategic initiatives that will continue through 2027.
Our priorities reflect both continuity and change:
We are in the process of intensive listening to bishops, priests, deacons, and lay employees. Our goal is to develop a vision-relevant point of view about how our work can best continue to fortify the Church we are called to serve.
In addition, we are improving our website,
cpg.org, now the most common way our stakeholders come to understand and take advantage of the resources we offer. We want to make sure it is easy to use as we enhance it to meet emerging needs.
At the same time, we are investing in our employees, providing them with the right tools to meet the moment and continue to serve with excellence.
You will see in this annual report that our progress over the past year has been both tangible and transformative—and that CPG remains financially disciplined and strong.
Many voices and perspectives shape the path ahead, and we look forward to more listening and learning as we continue to support the clergy and lay employees of The Episcopal Church in their calling to spread the gospel.
